Weed Week Tickets Go On Sale Tomorrow

PORTLAND, Ore., (Oct. 20, 2016) – Tickets and VIP passes for PDX Weed Week will be available for sale starting at noon Friday, October 21 at www.goweedweek.com/#register, and by phone at 808-250-3929. PDX Weed Week is a series of cannabis events and activities taking place in Portland, Oregon, Nov. 28 to Dec. 4.

Tickets are available for purchase October 21, and range from $99 to $199 per person; and ticket holders will have access to each cannabis event and activity.

PitchFest is the first event of PDX Weed Week, and is open to ticket holders who have a cannabis business idea and are looking for funding. How it works is: people with an idea have :60 seconds to “pitch” their idea to the group. The group will vote on the best ideas, and teams will form around those ideas. Over the course of the week, teams will work at developing a minimum viable product to pitch to investors at DemoDay at the end of the week.

The PDX Weed Week lecture series begins Tuesday, Nov. 29 and continues through Thursday, Dec. 1. Attendees can choose from more than 40 informative sessions covering topics in health & wellness, breeding & growing, business & technology, and many more. The inaugural Weedmaps Cannabis Crawl is a signature event of PDX Weed Week, and will take place Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 6pm. Attendees will split into groups and embark on a trek that will take them to a cannabis cultivation facility, cannabis processing facility, and a cannabis retail store. At the end of the trek, groups will come back together at a local watering-hole to socialize and share their experiences. Attendees participating in the Weedmaps Cannabis Crawl need to confirm through the Weed Week app or the website.

Another signature event of PDX Weed Week is the Cannabis Classic, the cannabis industry’s premier competition and awards show. The Cannabis Classic takes place on Sunday, Dec. 4, and will include an exhibitors fair with more than 40 vendors, a networking mixer, followed by the awards show. This year’s competition features nine awards – Highest CBD, Highest THC, Top Newcomer, Best Edible, Best Concentrate, Best Hybrid, Best Indica, Best Sativa, Best in Show – and cash prizes.
