No matter how much we like to throw around our hard earned cash, there’s never any point in just wasting it. Trying to pick out the best bong to suit your needs can be really hard and with the huge selection out there it can be downright frustrating! That’s why we’ve put together a short guide on things to look out for when you’re ready to buy a bong.
Is your glass bong branded?
As with other markets and products, the weed world contains well known, reliable glass makers and brands many consumers trust, but not everyone can afford the hefty price tag they come with. As the cannabis consumption trend grows, you can now find similar, unbranded products for 1/4th the price. When I buy my glass I shy away from the well known brands, if I can get something that looks solid at a cheaper price it’s a no brainer for me.
I’ve never felt comfortable paying for brand names unless it applies to my electronics and always growing Nike obsession. That’s not to say that avoiding the popular brands is for everyone, that’s just how I conduct myself.
Will the stand keep it supported?
When purchasing a glass bong, take a good look at the base to make sure it’s sturdy this will make or break your bong…literally! The wider the base the more stable it should be, some water chambers are elevated a little high which can make them a little risky, the last thing you want is a broken bong! The scientific beaker bases are a great example of a solid and safe stand.
What about the shop you place your order with?
Reviews are important, so if you’re shopping online read every review you can before making a purchase. It’s also crucial to check and see if there’s a return or exchange policy. Whether it’s a manufacturer error or your piece is damaged during delivery, you need some good customer support to make things right.
Follow these 3 steps and you will have a great online shopping experience!
**This guide also applies to when you’re shopping in person. Ask questions about what’s popular and if there have been any complaints. Most weed shops and head shops are friendly and will give you all the information you’ll need.**
If you’re worried about saving money and not into anything fancy, check out Herb Tools, they have good reviews and a great range of bongs and pipes that’ll meet your needs.
